Applications are now being accepted for the following positions:


Key accountabilities: The post holder will manage the Credit Union’s risk & compliance functions including the assessment of risk and adequacy of internal controls, systems, processes and programs. Post holder will develop appropriate risk ranking criteria for our membership. He/she will perform the role of MLRO; will enhance the AML/CTF training programme. Post holder will provide support to the Risk & Compliance Team to meet all on-going monitoring requirements; coordinate internal and external compliance audits and special investigations; and conduct quality control checks on Source of Funds and other due diligence requirements for members. Post holder will also issue AML/CTF and other complex reports as required by law.

Knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications required: Applicants must have CAMS qualification or other high-level risk or compliance related certification; a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; and at least 5 years of experience in senior regulatory compliance role. Post holder must have strong strategic planning, research, analytical, trouble shooting, problem-solving and sound decision making skills. He/she must be able to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations; be able to meet AML/CTF and other tight deadlines; Post holder will be persistent but tactful; be able to observe strict confidentiality to bring integrity/impartiality to all tasks; whilst providing oversight for the Risk & Compliance Dept. He/she must have a thorough understanding of complex accounting, auditing and cost control principles, along with excellent management, communication, customer service and organisational skills. Post holder must be detailed-oriented; able to work on own initiative; able to effectively train personnel on AML/CFT requirements. He/she must be able to participate in and facilitate group meetings. Strong public relations and presentation skills are necessary. Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.

Remuneration and Benefits:  The Credit Union offers an attractive compensation package to its employees, who also participate as members in annual member dividends.  

Salary Range: CI$74,340 – CI$111,456 per annum, to commensurate with qualifications and experience.
