Why is the Credit Union offering our AGM Online?

Due to the extraordinary circumstances presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Credit Union wants to ensure the continued safety of our members. The Credit Union is partnering with Vero Voting, an Australian Company, who will host the 2020 AGM online.

The AGM commences at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, 25  November 2020 online and in-person at the Sir. Vassel Johnson Hall located at UCCI.  For those members attending online, we encourage you to sign in to the online portal early to test the web browser, ensuring that you can see and hear the meeting.

How do I know if I am a Member in Good Standing?

In order to be eligible to vote at our AGM, you must be in good standing.

To be determined as a member in good standing:

  • You must have at least one active account;
  • You have $25 in Permanent Shares;
  • Your account must be KYC Compliant, at least one government-issued identification (drivers licence or passport on our system) is current (not expired); and 
  • Your loan is not delinquent (all payments are up to date)

Attending Online 

How Do I Access The AGM Online

To join the 2020 AGM online, members must register via the online portal, using the button below, make sure you have a good stable internet connection.

The Registration steps are:

  1. Register for the event by using your member number and date of birth credentials (DD/MM/YYYY).
  2. On the day of the AGM, open the online portal to stream the meeting. Members are encouraged to test their web browser early to ensure that you can see and hear the meeting.
  3. If you are joining the meeting using a mobile device, select the red video icon on the right side of the screen.
  4. You have the option to view full screen and adjust the volume.
  5. To access the agenda and supporting documents such as the 2019 AGM minutes, Standing Orders and COVID-19 Protocols, click the information tab.

How to Vote (For Members in Good Standing Only)

The voting starts when the Chairman opens the poll. From your screen, you will see the resolutions and voting choices set.  

  1. To vote, click on the Vote Tab;
  2. Select your options to cast your vote.

Asking a question

To ask a question prior to or during the meeting

  • Press the Q&A tab
  • Type your question in the box and when done, click Submit. Once sent, it will appear in the column with the icon “NEW”.

Once you have submitted your question, it will be flagged as one of the following statuses:

  • Approved - This status appears when your question will be answered below your question.
  • Answer After Meeting - This status appears when your question will be answered after the meeting and will be posted on our website.
  • Support - This status appears if your question is regarding a support issue. Support personnel will reach out to answer your question.
